Helen's Acceptance into Full Connexion and Ordination

The Sunday morning worship is a highlight within the life of the Conference. Through singing, prayer, preaching and drama the story of God's love for the world is celebrated.

During the service those who have trained to be Presbyters and Deacons were accepted 'into full Connexion', which is part of the Methodist tradition of affirming that people are called to serve God. Later that day those accepted went to be ordained in a number of churches and cathedrals around the region, recognising that Methodist ministers serve as part of the world-wide church of Christ.

The Conference Sunday Worship was Webcast live to St John's so we were able to join in and be part of this important service. After the service we travelled to Trinity Church Sutton for the ordination service.
